Albuquerque Soccer League Safesport Training Instructions
The 2017 SafeSport Act requires all 18-year-old and older players, on a team with minors (17 years of age or younger), to complete the SafeSport Trained Core training. This training is accessible through the SafeSport Platform.
If your team wishes to register a player younger than 18, and the league's minimum age is 16, every player on your team's roster is required to complete SafeSport training. If anyone on your team has already completed SafeSport training because they are involved in youth soccer or are a certified referee and their certification is current, they can provide us a copy of their completion certificate which is available from their SafeSport account. They will not need to repeat the course for ASL.
Once you have completed your Safesport training, please send the PDF version of the most recent certificate to your Team Manager and to Michele at aslsoccerstaff@gmail.com. Michele is the league Safesport manager and maintains all records for those who are required to complete the course..
